Ashley Allaire B.A.

Integration Aide & Behavior Support Specialist Scoot's Playhouse

She Doesn't Fix Kids — She Helps Them Flourish

As more than just an educator and a passionate member of the Scoot's Playhouse team, Ashley is a guide, an advocate, and a steady presence in the lives of the children she works with. She is devoted to creating inclusive, emotionally safe environments where every child — neurodiverse or typical — feels understood, supported, and encouraged to grow. Her goal is to meet each child where they are and help them blossom in their own unique way.

Ashley brings a unique perspective as someone trained in both behavior support and therapeutic recreation. She understands that children need structure AND joy, guidance AND freedom. In her work at Scoot's Playhouse, she specializes in supporting children with autism and complex behavioral needs, using evidence-based practices while never losing sight of the whole child.

"Working with children with different abilities has taught me that disability is not about what a child can't do — it's about creating the right conditions for them to thrive. That's what I'm committed to."

Naomy Raby-Bernard

Assistant Educator | Early Childhood Specialist Scoot's Playhouse

Changing the Future One Positive Action at a Time

Naomy is a dedicated early childhood educator and mother of two who brings both professional passion and lived experience to her work. She's new to the profession, but she brings something many educators never develop: a deep commitment to doing things differently.

Why Naomy Does This Work:

School wasn't always a positive experience for Naomy. But instead of letting that define her, she's letting it guide her. She watched how her own school experience could have been different — with more patience, more understanding, more belief in her potential. Now, she's committed to being that person for the next generation.

She chose to work in early childhood because she believes these years matter. Every positive interaction, every moment of understanding, every belief in a child's potential — it all matters. It all shapes who they become.

As a mother of two, Naomy understands what families need. She knows how scary it can be to trust someone with your child's care and education. She takes that responsibility seriously. Your child isn't just a student in her care — they're someone whose future she's helping to shape.

Naomy's Philosophy:

"I want every child to have what I didn't always have in school: someone who sees them, believes in them, and creates an environment where they can thrive. That's what I'm committed to — one positive action, one interaction, one child at a time."

Her Strengths:

  • Genuine empathy (she's walked the road many children walk)

  • Fresh perspective (new to profession = enthusiasm + modern approaches)

  • Mother's heart (understands what families need)

  • Growth mindset (eager to learn and improve constantly)

  • Commitment to inclusion (wants every child to feel valued)

  • Positive approach (transforms her experience into purpose)

  • Entrepreneurial spirit (building her own business)

What Sets Naomy Apart:

Naomy could have let her school experience make her bitter. Instead, it made her better. She's chosen to be the educator, the advocate, the believer she needed when she was in school. That's the kind of person you want caring for your child. She brings professional training, real-world parenting experience, genuine desire to support every child, fresh energy, and a heart that remembers what it felt like to be the child who struggled.

Fun Fact:

When she's not at Scoot's Playhouse, Naomy is running her own eyelash extension business from home — because she's the type of person who's always working to build something, support her family, and create the life she envisions. Busy mom, dedicated educator, and savvy entrepreneur. That's Naomy.

Emily Petsche

Emily is an enthusiastic and warmhearted new addition to our team, bringing fresh energy and a genuine love for working with young children. She recently graduated from John Abbott College's Arts, Literature, and Communication program, and is excited to grow and learn within the early childhood field.

What makes Emily such a natural fit in a daycare setting is her playful, childlike spirit — she has a true gift for connecting with little ones and meeting them right where they are. She believes that joy, imagination, and fun are at the heart of every great childhood experience.

Emily is passionate about the arts in all their forms. She loves music deeply, especially the magic of live performances, and even picks up a guitar from time to time. She also has a creative eye for filmmaking and video editing, bringing a storyteller's perspective to everything she does.
